The Nintendo DS is Nintendo's current portable video-gaming system. It is the first portable of their to have to compete with Sony.

Touch Nintendo is right, touching is good, and after the perverted jokes (ive got lots of them) that can follow from that phrase, the Nintendo DS's touch screen is the centerpiece of the strategy Nintendo pulled off with this little guy. The Nintendo DS's touch screen allowed for a brand new era of gaming to ensue, everything from puppy-sitting to brain-training became possible.
Dual Screens Working hand in hand with the touch screen, the Nintendo DS's dual screens allows for all kinds of modes of gameplay. From having the touch screen dedicated to serve as a joystick and the top screen showing the action in a shooter game, or the simple map screen concept, the dual screens are neither gimmicky or 1 trick ponies. They feel natural and are absolutley required for lots of the great games that have appeared for the console.
Price Retailing at $129.99, the Nintendo DS hits the mainstream handheld market, and oh so much more. With this price point, and the "Touch Generations" game series, the Nintendo DS has been able to sell to people who have never touched a video game system in their lives, or at least never played one. The point allows for buyers to get a comfortable set up for under $200, a feat none of Nintendo's competitors are yet to achieve.
Design The Nintendo DS Lite is, simply put, a work of art. The system looks absolutley beautiful, and its screens are able to pump out all of the colorful enviroments that are in its games with elogance regardless of the lighting conditions around it. The Clam-shell design protects the inside system, and when folded the system automatically goes into sleep mode, a mode it can sustain for a whole week. When using a Nintendo DS its apparent that the system has been thought through.
