Description
With the power of the SFX chip, Mario returns on the Super Nintendo in his pre-rendered glory. In what truly is Super Mario meets Final Fantasy, Super Mario RPG takes a completley different route of gameplay, and plot that had held consistant for other SNES Mario Adventures. As an RPG game, Mario and his partners level up, equip items, and cast spells (well sort of), but as a Mario game, actual timing in button mashing is needed to win battles to gain experience points. This game is considered one of the best Mario games to date.
